I proposed my fiancé at this hotel during our stay and the staff was extremely helpful to keep it surprise and they also arranged a cake upon my request. I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to stay at and if you are planning something like this, they got you covered 100%. My special thanks to Valeria who was helping me hands on setting up everything.

I was working in the area and decided to try this hotel. It was very nice and close to where I was working. A beautiful hotel right on the Lake. I mot likely will head back here this Summer for a vacation.

Literally the ONLY thing I wish the hotel had was 24 hour coffee/tea. I get up early in the morning, and do not like room coffee. I had to wait, but it's certainly not the end of the world. We went "out of season" so maybe during peak season it would be different.

First time stay at this hotel and in Saranac Lake. The hotel is in a great location and within an easy walk to downtown. We stayed here to watch the Bobsledding in Lake Placid and found the drive to be reasonable and a good alternative to staying in Lake Placid. The front desk staff, housekeeping staff, and lobby bar staff were all friendly and accommodating.

We had a great stay in Saranac lake. When we checked in we received complementary truffles that were fantastic. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with lots of room on the counter in the bathroom. The hotel supplied shower and sink toiletries.
We really loved that they are pet friendly and my kids loved the indoor pool overlooking the lake and ice palace. I enjoyed the hot tub and the big fluffy towels provided.
Overall, a great experience.

Great view of snow covered Lake Saranac and the ice castle that was lit at night. We experienced a warm welcome at the front desk and terrific dining experiences. The room was simple, but so comfortable! A great night’s sleep!

Nice hotel, Nice rooms, extremely slow breakfast service, indoor pool was unrealistically swamped with guests who walked bate food outside the pool area over the corridors, dirty hallways and back in the pool...so dirty. Stuff confused 😕.
